Three ice-factories, two meat shops sealed

LAHORE,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Augst,2016) : The Punjab Food Authority (PFA), during its ongoing crackdown on substandard food items, sealed three ice-factories, two meat shops and a mineral water brand on Monday. According to the PFA officials, a team of Ravi Town sealed ice-factories in Shahdara for using low quality water for preparing ice.

The teams of Samanabad and Shalimar towns sealed a chicken and a mutton shop for selling substandard, unhygienic meat, and having insects in the store and also wasted a quantity of chicken meat. Nashtar Town team sealed a water brand "3N" and seized 5,000 litres water.
