District Government Finalizes Arrangements To Celebrate Independence Day

BAHAWALPUR,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Augst,2016) : District Co-ordination Officer Bahawalpur Dr. Ehtisham Anwar Mahar Monday said that district government had finalized arrangements to celebrate Independence Day in a befitting manner.
He made these remarks while presiding over a meeting to finalize the Independence Day celebrations arrangements held at committee room here which was attended by heads of various district departments. According to finalized program, Independence Day celebrations have commenced from today in which all district departments, different NGOs and other relevant organizations would also play their role with national zeal and zest.
While addressing the meeting he said that the main feature of the Independence Day celebrations is staging an Independence Day public parade after hosting of National flag on 14th of August, the parade would start from Circular road which would end at Eid Gah.
District heads of all departments and officials to play their role with dedication and commitment to celebrate the Independence Day programs with missionary zeal, he added.
