PCG Detain 71 Persons Trying To Cross Border Illegally

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Augst,2016) : The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) has detained 71 persons for trying to illegally cross the border. A PCG statement here on Monday said, during checking of various vehicles at Panwan Road Check Jiwani and Shahjehan Road Check Nelant (Balochistan) 71 people were found trying to cross Pak-Iran border without legal documents.
They included 67 Pakistanis, three Afghanis and one Iranian. It said that after initial interrogation, they were handed over to the FIA for further investigation. The statement further pointed out that since January this year, the PCG has handed over 950 persons to the FIA. They were trying to cross border without any legal documents.
