Govt Keen To Improve Police Deptt

SARGODHA,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st August, 2016) : DPO Sohail Chaudhary Monday said that under policies of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif the Punjab government was taking extraordinary steps for the betterment police department. Addressing ATM Cards distribution ceremony among 103 widows of the martyrs of policemen at Police Lines on Monday, the DPO said that fight against terrorism will be continued,adding that those policemen who had sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country will be remembered as the heroes of the Police department.
DPO said that implemention of National Action Plan has shown success as police foiled many terror bids across the province and arrested a number of proclaimed offenders and drug pushers. He said that police department signed an agreement with Bank Al-Falah for drawing pension money and the widows can withdraw money from any branch of the said bank across the country.
