Shower With Isolated Heavy Falls Expected

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st August, 2016) - Rain-thundershower with isolated heavy falls is expected at scattered places in upper Punjab including the city during next 24 hours. According to Met office,moderate monsoon currents are penetrating upper parts of the country.
A shallow westerly wave is located over Kashmir and its adjoining areas.
Under the influence of these meteorological conditions, rain with isolated heavy falls is expected in Lahore,Rawalpindi, Gujranwala,Sargodha and Faisalabad divisions while at isolated places in Bahawalpur division during next 24 hours.
In the provincial capital maximum temperature was recorded 34 degree celsius with humidity 67 percent on Monday. Some temperatures recorded in other major cities were as under (in celsius): Islamabad 33,Karachi 30,Peshawer 35, Quetta 32.
