MNAs, MPAs Briefed On Law & Order

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th july, 2016) : DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf briefed members of National and Punjab assemblies about law and order situation in a monthly meeting here at CCPO Office Saturday. The DIG suggested the MNAs and MPAs to also accompany the police on the occasion of handing over the missing children to their families so that they could aware people about children's reasons of leaving the homes. He added that police department needed the public representatives' effective role in maintaining peaceful atmosphere in the city and controlling incidents of one-wheelie, kite-flying and kidnapping of children.
Dr Haider Ashraf said that respective MNAs and MPAs in collaboration with police department should organize awareness campaigns to control one-wheelie and hooliganism on the occasion of Independence Day. The DIG also urged the parents to monitor their children so as to stop them from fatal game of one wheelie not only for themselves but for other road users. On this occasion, the parliamentarians including Ghazali Saleem Butt, Majid Zahoor, Waheed Gul, Rana Naseer, Ch Gulzar Gujjar, Ramazan Bhatti and Fouzia Butt assured of the police high-ups of their full cooperation in all efforts of police to maintain law and order in city.
