Encroachment From Play Grounds To Be Soon Demolished: Administer KMC

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th july, 2016) : Administrator Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) Laeeq Ahmed has assured that within next few days encroachments from all the city's play grounds would be demolished and restored once again for sports activities. The Administrator said that he would continue to play his role for the promotion of games in Karachi. Laeeq Ahmed expressed these views while addressing a colourful function held Saturday, organized by Karachi Sports Association in connection with holding of 3rd Karachi Beach Games at Karachi beach.

A large number of prominent sports personalities graced the occasion. Laeeq Ahmed said that sports is an essential part of society and sportspersons play pivotal role for the better development of the people. Karachi, Laeeq Ahmed, said had produced a number of world fame sportspersons. He said that in spite of difficult situation being faced by KMC, it would continue to support sports and players. Earlier, President of the Association Muhammad Aslam Khan, Chairman Ghulam Muhammad Khan and other also spoke.
