Law & Order Improves In Karachi Due To Operation: Khaqan

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th july, 2016) : Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abassi has said law and order situation in Karachi had improved due to operation and it should continue to eliminate the criminals from the city. It was appreciable that Rangers had restored peace in city through taking effective actions against the criminals, extortionists, target killers and terrorists, he said talking to a private news channel. He said Karachi was a economic hub of the country, adding that the confidence of traders had restored due to the success of the operation in the city.
The minister said if the Sindh government had no need the Rangers then it should take responsibility of the situation of the province. The Rangers was deployed with the consensus of the Sindh government, he added. Shahid Khaqan said Rangers operation was also carried out against the Chutoo Gang in Punjab. Replying to a question, he said changing of the Chief Minister of Sindh was internal matter of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and it was the party's democratic right.
