ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th july,2016) : The Chairman of Hurriyet forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has said that Indian state terrorism can neither suppress the Kashmiris ongoing liberation struggle nor can change the reality of the Kashmir dispute. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in an interview in Srinagar castigated the occupation authorities for not allowing Juma prayers at Jamia Masjid on third consecutive Friday.
He deplored that while all basic human rights of people of the occupied territory were continuously under assault, they were not even allowed to fulfill their religious obligation and hence the infamous regime put even dictators to shame, KMS reported. The Mirwaiz said that those executing such repression should understand that it would not cow down the Kashmiri people or change the basic reality of the Kashmir dispute which would eventually had to be resolved as per the Kashmiris' aspirations.
He said that the Kashmiri people would continue their struggle despite such measures. He said, the imposition of black laws has turned occupied Kashmir into a police and military state where the writ of these agencies runs and all human rights and liberties of the people get trampled under their boots.
He demanded revocation of all black laws from the occupied territory. The Mirwaiz also strongly condemned the use of excessive force by Indian troops and police personnel against peaceful protests across the Kashmir Valley and arbitrary arrests of hundreds of youth in Srinagar and other districts during nocturnal raids on their residences.
