EDINBURGH, , (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2017 ) - Wales led Scotland 13-9 at half-time in a Six Nations international at Murrayfield on Saturday. After early penalties from Scotland's Finn Russell and Wales's Leigh Halfpenny, it was the Welsh who scored the only try of the first half.
Rhys Webb's quick tap penalty caught the home defence napping and saw the scrum-half send in wing Liam Williams in the 23rd minute. Halfpenny converted for a 10-3 Wales lead and added another penalty. But two further Russell penalties, including one in first-half stoppage time, kept the Scots in touch as they sought a first win in 10 Tests against Wales.
