Ramzan-ul-Mubarik Cycling Training Camp Commences

LAHORE, June 1 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Jun, 2017 ) : Ramzan-ul-Mumbark Cycling Training Camp for Men & Women started here on Thursday under the aegis of the Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) at the cycling velodrome.
Waqar Ali qualified International Cycling Coach Level III from Union Cycliste International (UCI) is the head coach of the camp which aims at imparting finer points of the modern day cycling, said a spokesman for the PCF while talking to APP.
The cycling training has been established by the PCF National Cycling academy and most modern facilities are being provided to a dozen of participants.
Waqar is being assisted by three national coaches namely Syed Nazakat Ali, Muhammad Akram Dar and Qasir Siddique Bhatti, he said.
"We are laying special attention on the grooming of our cyclists, both men and women, to promote the game on new lines," said the spokesman. He said that the PCF is taking measures to tape cycling talent at early level and this useful activity is part of the PCF development plan.
"The presence of female riders in the camp widely speaks for our efforts to give equal importance to development of cycling among women," he said.
