Qari Tariq Khan, Shakeel Khan Claim Mr. And Junior Mr. KP Bodybuilding Titles

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2017 ) : Qari Tariq Khan of Yasin Gym and Shafi Ullah of top gym claimed Mr. and Junior Mr Khyber Pakhtunkhwa titles in the Bodybuilding Contests organized by KP Bodybuilding Association with the collaboration of Directorate of Sports and District Government here at PSB Coaching Center Hall on Monday.

Member Provincial Assembly Shoukat Yousafzai, Nazim Peshawar Arbab Muhammad Asif, former World Champion Qamar Zaman, famous Pashto Artist Ismail Shahid, Naib Nazim Qasim Ali Shah, Ex-Town-1 Nazim Haji Shoukat, Vice Chairman District Govt Haji Hidayat Ullah, Mr.

Pakistan Yasin Khan, three times Mr. Asia Yahya Butt, former Mr. Pakistan Abbas Khan, Naeem Akhtar, Secretary Punjab Bodybuilding Association, former Mr. Pakistan Furqan Ali, Mr. Muscle mina Kishwar Khan, judges, officials, and large number of spectators were also present.

There was a tough battle between Mr. and Junior Mr. Peshawar titles as the class winner of Junior and Senior categories vie for the top honor. Salman Khan won the Mr. Peshawar title while Hanif Khan of Kishwar Gym got Junior Mr.

Peshawar title. To give honor to the most promising muscleman of the province who competed in the Mr. Pakistan contest, Muhammad Ismail Khan declared as Super Mr. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Former Mr.

Pakistan Yahya Butt, former Mr. Pakistan Abbas Khan, Secretary Punjab Bodybuilding Association Naeem Akhtar were the judges. In the class of 60-65kg Sanan Khan got first position, followed by Subhan Ullah, Gulzada, Aqab and Inayat Ullah, in the 65-70kg class Munib Kamal got first position, followed by Umair Khattak, Johar Ali, Usman Khan and Zakir Ullah.

In the 70-75kg weight class Tariq Khan secured first position, followed by Zeeshan Khan, Asad Khan, Yasir, in the 75-80kg weight class Akhtar Khan won first position, followed by Usman Khan, Jehanzaib, and Raheel Khan.

In the Junior class 55-60kg Muhammad Nanif got first position, followed by Haris, John, Naveed Khan, Uman Khan, Zikria, in the 60-65kg weight class Hanif got first position, followed by Murtaza, Ijaz Khan, Asfandiyar Khan and Usman Khan, in the 65-70kg weight class Aman Ullah won first position, followed by Faizan Khan, Nouman Gul, Afraisyab, and Rohullah.

Speaking on the occasion, Nazim Peshawar lauded the efforts of the organizing committee for involving players from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in healthy sports activities. He said District Government was very keen for involving youth in healthy sports.

Soon Peshawar District Government would hold Sports Gala wherein different disciplines for both male and female, he added. In his speech MPA Shoukat Yousafzai termed such activities very important for the youth.

He said KP is full of talented players and that is why currently it was holding Mr. and Junior Mr. Pakistan titles. Yasin of KP last year won the title of Mr. Pakistan while Ihlaq of Charsadda won Junior Mr.

Pakistan. At the end, MPA Shoukat Yousafzai, Nazim Arbab Asim, former World Champion Qamar Zaman awarded Rs. 0.1 million and a motorcycle each to Muhammad Ismail Khan, Qari Tariq, Shafi Ullah, Salam Khan, Hanif Khan for winning Super Mr KP, Mr KP, Junior Mr KP, Mr. Peshawar and Junior Mr. Peshawar.
