PSB Finalize Strength Of Technical Officials For QD Games

The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Monday finalized the strength of technical officials for the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games to be held here from December 25 to 29
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Dec, 2017 ) :The Pakistan sports board (PSB) Monday finalized the strength of technical officials for the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games to be held here from December 25 to 29.
The 451 officials appointed for 19 disciplines include Athletics (Men & Women) 60, Badminton (Men & Women) 20, Baseball (Men) 16, Boxing (Men) 28, Football (Men & Women) 20, Hockey (Men & Women) 18, Judo (Men & Women) 25, Kabaddi Circle (Men) 25, Karate (Men & Women) 25, Netball (Men & Women) 20, Snooker (Men) 10, Squash (Men & Women) 20, Table Tennis (Men & Women) 16, Taekwondo (Men & Women) 25, Tennis (Men & Women) 22, Volleyball (Men & Women) 22, Weightlifting (Men) 22, Wrestling (Men) 22 and Wushu (Men) 35.
The technical officials were announced in the meeting of the Honorary Secretaries of the respective National Sports Federations held here at Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) to discuss the organizational arrangements of Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games.
Dr Muhammad Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera, Director General, PSB presided over the meeting. Malik Iftikhar Ahmed Awan, President, Pakistan Wushu Federation, Shahbaz Ahmed Senior, Secretary General, Pakistan Hockey Federation, Muhammad Sarwar, Secretary General, Pakistan Kabaddi Federation, Amjad Amin Butt, Secretary General, Pakistan Weightlifting Federation, Engr.
Shah Naeem Zafar, Secretary General, Pakistan Volleyball Federation, Lt. Col. Nasir Ijaz Tung, Secretary General, Pakistan Boxing Federation, Muhammad Zafar, Secretary General, Athletics Federation of Pakistan, Naveed Kapadia, Rep.
of Snooker and other representatives of Pakistan Badminton, Karate, Squash, Taekwondo, Tennis, Table Tennis, Baseball, Judo, Wrestling Federation, all Deputy Director Generals and Muhammad Azam Dar, Director (Media) were also attended the meeting.
On the occasion, Ganjera appreciated the efforts of the Sports Federations contributed for the successful conduct of Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games held from 4-7 April, 2016. "The basic objective of the project is to create environment conducive for promoting national harmony by engaging the youth in healthier activities," he said.
