National Men And Women Cycling Championships From Nov 27

A four-day national men and women cycling championships will be organised here from Nov 27 at the cycling velodrome
LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Nov, 2017 ) :A four-day national men and women cycling championships will be organised here from Nov 27 at the cycling velodrome. Secretary Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) while talking to APP on Tuesday said, PCF is organising the competitions in collaboration with Pakistan sports board (PSB) in which men senior, junior and women senior, junior events will be arranged.
President PCF, Kokab Nadeem Warraich will inaugurate the championship. He said the main objective of organising the events simultaneously is to give the opportunity to the upcoming male and female riders to polish their skills.
He said PCF is duly recognized/affiliated with PSB, Pakistan Olympic Association at National level, UCI and ACC at International level.
"Teams from four provinces including Islamabad, Army, WAPDA and SSGC will participate in the championships and each team will compete in Senior, Junior part of national championship", he asserted.
He informed that an organising committee has been formed with Moazam Khan International cyclist and Vice President PCF as its President and Muhammad Haroon as Vice President PCF and secretary Islamabad cycling association will be the organising secretary of the events.
"We are confident to find new cycling talent from these championships and to groom it for future needs," Secretary PCF said.
