KP Cycling Championship From Oct 22

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Championship will be organized from October 22 here with cyclists from all seven regions would be taking part

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2017 ) :Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Championship will be organized from October 22 here with cyclists from all seven regions would be taking part.

This was stated by President KP Cycling Association Nisar Ahmad, who is recently returned home after performing his duty as Technical Official in the World International Cycling Championship played in Norway.

Nisar Ahmad said that preparations have already been kicked off for the smooth conduct of the race wherein cyclists from all registered regions comprising Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Kohat, Mardan, Swat, Hazara and host Peshawar will take part.

He said the Cycle Race will start at 9.00 a.m in the morning from Northern By-Pass, Near Ring Road Bridge wherein the cyclists would take part in Individual Time Trials, Team Time Trials of 14 km each while on October 23 there will be 28kg scratch road race.

Secretary General Pakistan Cycling Federation and former World Champion Qamar Zaman will grace the occasion as guest at the opening ceremony on October 22 at 9.00 a.m while KP sports Minister Mehmood Khan, Secretary Sport Tariq Khan, Director General Sports Junaid Khan and Director General Youth Asfandyar Khan Khattak will be the guest at the closing ceremony.
