Easy sailing for top seeded players of all four categories in the Khyber Pakhuntkhwa Junior Age Group Boys Squash Championship which got under way here at PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex on Wednesday
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Oct, 2017 ) :Easy sailing for top seeded players of all four categories in the Khyber Pakhuntkhwa Junior Age Group Boys Squash Championship which got under way here at PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex on Wednesday.
Top seed Humam Ahmad in Under-11, Muhammad Ammad in Under-13, Asad Ullah in Under-15 and Uzair Shoukat in Under-17 categories got easy sailing after securing victories against their respective rivals.
In the Under-17 category Uzair Shoukat recorded victory against Muhammad Owais in straight sets, the score was 11-5, 11-7 and 11-6, Zargham Khan beat Muhammad Qasim Noorani by 3-1, the score was 11-9, 10-12, 11-7 and 11-8, Abdullah Wajid defeated Jawaz Ahmad by 3-0, the score was 11-8, 11-7 and 11-6, Hamza Sharif beat Mehran Khan by 3-1, the score was 10-12, 11-9, 11-7 and 11-6, Rashid Doulat beat Rafi Ullah by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-6 and 11-7, Ahmad Hassan beat Abdul Haseeb by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-8 and 11-9, Mavia Hussain beat Faisal Fayyaz by 3-0, the score was 11-9, 11-6 and 11-4 and Saqib Iqbal beat Imran Hussain by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-6 and 11-8.
In the Under-15 top seed Asad Ullah defeated Abbas Nawaz by 3-1, the score was 10-12, 11-7, 11-8 and 11-7, Fawad Hussain beat Afaq Khan by 3-0, the score was 11-8, 11-9 and 11-9, Waleed Khalil beat Ammad Ahmad by 3-0, the score was 11-9, 11-7 and 11-9, Khushal Riaz beat Nouman by 3-0, the score was 11-9, 11-7 and 11-5, Hammad Khan beat Bilal Khan by 3-1, the score was 11-9, 12-10, 6-11 and 11-9, Noor Zaman beat Taimur Khan by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-4 and 11-9, Muhammad Talha beat Ghulam Muhammad by 3-0, the score was 11-6, 11-7 and 11-9, and Ali Sher beat Fahad Sharif by 3-0, the score was 11-9, 11-7 and 12-10.
In the Under-13 category Muhammad Ammad beat Sheraz Akbar by 3-1 in a thrilling match, the score was 12-10, 8-11, 11-9 and 11-8. Ammad played well and did not give much time to his rival Sheraz Akbar to strike back after winning the second set.
Muhammad Khan beat Abdul Maqeet by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-9 and 11-8, Yaseen Khattak beat Talha Khan by 3-0, the score was 11-6, 11-7 and 11-9, Mubashir Ali beat Muhammad Abbas by 3-0, the score was 11-8, 11-7 and 11-9, Huzaifa beat Shalan by 3-1, the score was 10-12, 12-10, 11-8 and 11-9 in another thrilling match.
Abu Zar Imtiaz beat Shayan Khan by 3-0, the score was 11-8, 11-7 and 11-9, Nawaz Khan beat Majid Ahmad by 3-0, the score was 11-9, 11-7 and 11-8 and Hamza beat Owais Ullah by 3-0, the score was 11-8, 11-7 and 11-9.
In the Under-11 category top seed Humam Ahmad registered victory against Kene John in straight set, the score was 11-4, 11-5 and 11-5. Both Humam and Kene John played well against each other with some fine shorts were also witnessed.
Humam did not give much time to Kene John to strike back and thus marched into victory in one-sided affairs. Arsh Khan beat Saif Ullah Tareen by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-6 and 11-4, Zohaib Hassan beat Waqas Ullah by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-6 and 11-8.
Abdullah Nawaz beat Awais Zeb by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-6 and 11-8, Mobeen Kamran beat Huzafa by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-7 and 11-9, Muhammad Hanif beat Mubeen Ali Khan by 3-0, the score was 11-8, 11-6 and 11-9, Mufariq Ali Shah beat Abdullah Zaman by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-8 and 11-9 and Saki Ullah Tareen beat Ibrahim by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-8 and 11-9.
