The eight-goal Bank of Punjab (BoP) Polo Tournament 2017 will stroll into action from tomorrow
LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Dec, 2017 ) :The eight-goal Bank of Punjab (BoP) Polo Tournament 2017 will stroll into action from tomorrow, Tuesday here at the Lahore Polo Club (LPC) ground.
Top five teams have been participating in the tournament, which are further divided into two pools. Pool A consists of Newage and Master Paints while Pool B comprises Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), Guard Group and Black Horse Paints.
The opening match of the tournament will be contested between ZTBL and Guard Group at 2:00 pm today (Tuesday). The main and subsidiary finals of the event will be played on December 17.
Lahore Polo Club executive committee member Umer Sadik said that the polo season has been moving towards its peak as high-goal events are approaching fast which will make the polo season more challenging and enthralling.
This eight-goal tournament is also going to be a tough but very interesting polo event, which will not only provide the players to exhibit their prowess and techniques but also provide the spectators ample chances to enjoy the high-voltage polo contests with great zeal and fervour.
