All Arrangements Finalised For Cycling Events

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2017 ) : All arrangements have been finalised for the conduct of two-track events here on May 26 for men and women for promotion of cycling.
"These events will be held at the cycling velodrome and, for the first time, Kirein race is being introduced in men cycling and sprint for women," said a spokesman for the Punjab Cycling Association while talking to APP on Wednesday.
Both the events are open for all cyclists having ordinary bikes. Ch Kamran Amin, president, PCA, will flag off the riders to inaugurate the event.
Muhammad Hafeez Bhatti, director sports, will be chief guest at the closing ceremony.
Muhammad Akram Dar, former international cyclist, has been nominated as chief judge and Qaisar Siddique Bhatti will officiate as chief coordinator and Syed Nazakat Ali, former international cyclist, is the coach and director of the events.
"Notable performers of the races will be awarded cash prizes," he said. The interested cyclists can register their Names with the organising secretary before the start of the race.
