US CG holds female field Hockey event

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Mar, 2017 ) : U.S Consul General (CG) to Karachi Grace Shelton has welcomed approximately 60 girls aged 14-20 from Olympian Islahuddin- Dr. Shah Hockey academy and the English Access micro-scholarship program at a female field hockey event held here at the Old Consul General Residence.

According to a statement on Tuesday, the event included a mini-scrimmage between the girls as well as immediately using the skills they had learnt. The CG Shelton addressing the participants said, We want more young girls in Karachi to play field hockey while benefiting from the sense of belonging and teamwork that comes with it.
