Trials for selection of South Punjab Hockey Team were held at the District Sports Ground for Under-16 boys National Hockey Championship

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2017 ) :Trials for selection of South Punjab Hockey Team were held at the District sports Ground for Under-16 boys National Hockey Championship.

According to sources, 85 players from Multan, Bahawapur and DG Khan divisions participated on the first day of two days trials.

A 20-player squad will be announced after completion of trials and a training camp would also be set up in Lahore.

The South Punjab Hockey Team would participate in the PHF Under-16 boys National Hockey Championship which would commence from November 19 at Khairpur, Sindh while final of the championship would be held on November 28. Selection Committee Members Kamran Sharif and Haroon Saeed conducted the trials.
