Pakistan Hockey Federation To Organise Goalkeepers Training Camp

Pakistan Hockey Federation will organise two weeks training and coaching camp for budding goalkeepers, both male and female, from Feb 25 to March 10 at Karachi's Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium.
LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2018 ) :Pakistan Hockey Federation will organise two weeks training and coaching camp for budding goalkeepers, both male and female, from Feb 25 to March 10 at Karachi's Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium.
Goalkeeper's role has assumed great importance in today's hockey and the PHF is organising this beneficial activity to groom goalkeepers on modern lines," said a spokesman for Pakistan Hockey Federation, here on Tuesday.
Pakistan's two former celebrated goalkeepers, World Cup winner Mansoor Ahmed and Nasir Ahmad will conduct the camp. Following 21 goalkeepers have been asked to report to the course coordinators on Feb 24.
Male: Waqar Younis, Adil Rao, Awais Rashid, Maseeh, Aun Ali, Hafiz Al Umair, Waleed Akhtar, Yasir Khan, Ali Raza, Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Roman Khan, Ali Haider, Akmal Hussain, Arsal Eyjaz & Usman Malik. Female: Rushna Khan, Anmol Arshad, Tahira islam, Nida Majeed, Syeda Sadia and Sitara
