National Hockey Tournament to be hels in Ramzan

RAWALPINDI, Mar 7 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Mar, 2017 ) : Hockey Tournament at National level would be held in the month of Ramzan at Shahnaz Sheikh Hockey Stadium Govt Muslim High school while a Astroturf would be laid by April 20.

Chairman Punjab sports board Hanif Abassi said while visiting the stadium along with Zonal Manager Greenfield Holland Saif Clicks here Tuesday. The Punjab government, he said, was giving priority to promote sports activities in the garrison city.

Abassi said a cricket Coaching academy for women is also being set up at Government Waqar-un-Nisa Postgraduate College for Women with an aim to provide healthy activities to women that would be functional soon, he added. APP/tah/sh/sho
