Ice Hockey: Sweden win world title after penalty shoot-out

COLOGNE, Germany, , (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2017 ) - Sweden won the ice hockey world championships for the 10th time with a 2-1 victory over 2016 champions Canada after the final was settled by a penalty shoot-out.

Nicklas Backstorm hit the winning shot after it finished 1-1 over the three periods when Ryan O'Reilly equalised for Canada after Victor Hedman had put Sweden ahead.
