Football: Platini hopes FIFA has the 'decency' to lift his suspension

Disgraced former UEFA president Michel Platini told AFP on Saturday he hoped that world footballing body FIFA would have "the decency" to lift his suspension over a 1.8-million-euro payment in 2011

Paris, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2018 ) :Disgraced former UEFA president Michel Platini told AFP on Saturday he hoped that world footballing body FIFA would have "the decency" to lift his suspension over a 1.8-million-euro payment in 2011.

"I hope that FIFA will have the courage and the decency to lift my suspension," he told AFP, warning that if not, his legal advisers would take all necessary measures to ensure the lifting of the ban on his involvement in all footballing activity until October 2019.
