Blue Stars Club Mardan Enter Into Ghazi Muhammad Memorial Soccer Final

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2017 ) : Blue stars Mardan entered into the final after recording victory against Shah Club Charsadda in the semi-final of the ongoing Ghazi Muhammad Memorial Football Tournament being played at Younis Stadium Mardan on Monday.
The match was started on slow now and none of the team could get any lead till the end of the first session play despite making some occasional inroads. Blues Stars Mardan have an edge of the cheering local supporters against Shah Club Charsadda but failed to click in the first session.
After the goal less first session, it was the second session in which both the teams raided on each other territories with some good attacking moves were also witnessed. Despite attacking game both the teams were failed to score any goal and thus the second half was also ended a goal-less draw.
To get certain result of the match both were awarded five each penalty kicks on which Blue Stars scored on all five occasions but Shah Club Charsadda missed the target and thus Blue Stars won the match by 5-4.
Earlier, before the start of the match, the players of both Blue Stas Mardan and Shah Club Charsadda were introduced to known social worker of the area Imran Khan, Chairman of the Kiran Thalassemia Hospital Mardan Imran Khan.
