ISLAMABAD,(APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st july,2016) : Legendary former bowler Wasim Akram said Wednesday that the return of Ben Stroke and James Anderson in the squad will improve overall performance of English team. Talking to private news channel, Wasim said Pakistan must remain composed and cautious in next game as England may make a comeback in coming test.
"English team will be careful of Yasir Shah", he said. To a question he said, "Saqlain Mushtaq's presence in the English camp will definitely make a difference to Pakistan as he knows ins and outs of our national team". "Saqlain will tell English batsmen to tackle leg spinners especially Yasir Shah because he knows where and how to hit Pakistan", he told.
Waseem said Pakistan has been successful in uneasing the English camp. He said Yasir Shah is a great addition to the spin bowling expertise of Pakistan's national cricket. To another question, he said the coaches will be helpful but at the end boys will have to perform on the field.
"Pakistan must not forget that English team will try its best to level the series by 1-1", he said. He analyzed that knowing the history, England might produce seeming track to counter the spin element. "Wicket will be bouncy so England can take early wickets taking benefit from Pakistanis' batting problems," he said. He hoped Pakistan will grab the match initially if they batted well.
