Mustafa, Haris Guides GHS Nasapa To Victory In PCB A.H. Kardan Inter-School Cricket

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2017 ) : Mustafa Khan five wickets haul and Haris Ahmad three wickets for just 12 runs guided Govt High school Nasapa to a thumping victory against Govt High School Nahaqi in the ongoing PCB A.H Kardar Inter-School cricket Championship being played on various venues on Friday.
In a match played at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium Mustafa claimed five wickets for 27 runs in his four overs spell and Haris Ahmad grabbed another three wickets for 12 runs in his four overs spell succeeded in restricting Govt High School Nahaqi to 43 runs only in response to the team total of 224 runs for five.
Govt High School Nasapa skipper won the toss and decided to bat first by setting up 224 runs for six wickets after playing the allotted 25 overs. Naseem Jan and Khalid Junior hammered a cracking 121 runs opening wicket stand with Naseem added 47 runs with three boundaries and Khalid Junior hammered another dashing 74 runs, laced with nine boundaries and one six.
Haris Ahmad was the other promising batsman who contributed a superb quick-fire 42 runs off 21 balls with five boundaries and one six. Thus Nasapa High School setup 224 runs target. For GHS Nahaqi Hamad Jan, Junaid Khan took one wicket each while Sohail Ahmad and Zameer Khan got two wickets each.
In reply, Govt High School Nahaqi bundled out for 43 runs only after playing 11.3 overs wherein Junaid and Hamad Jan scored 15 runs each, none of the other batsmen could cross the double figures.
Mustafa claimed five wickets, Haris Ahmad got three wickets and Saeed Ullah took two wickets. In the other match played at Gymkhana ground, AMS Pishtakhara Payan beat Roots Millennium School by 128 runs.
Batting First Pishtakhara Payan School made an handsome target of 277 runs with Wali Ali made elegant 75 runs including nine boundaries, Hashmat Farooq scored 57 runs, Hzama made 35 runs with four boundaries and two sixes.
Aleem Ali not out 16 and Hanif Khan out for 35 runs were the other runs contributors. For Roots Millennium Umar Adil took two wickets, Shakir and Zeeshan got one wicket each. In reply Roots Millennium School made only 129 runs for six with Shakir Khan made 56 runs, Zeeshan Khan (29) and Muhammad Amir Khan scored 28 runs.
Abdullah claimed three wickets, Inam Ullah, Hamza and Jawaz took one wicket each. In the third match played at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium, Govt High School No. 3 beat New Islamia Public School by 18 runs.
Govt High School No. 3 made 56 runs only for all out in 13.2 overs with Muhammad Zubair made 24 runs. Dawood Jan, Nawaz Uddin got two wickets each while Muhammad Jabir, Ayaz Shah, Jehangir Ahmad got one wicket each.
In reply, Islamia Public School bundled out for 38 runs only after playing 10.3 overs. Zubair claimed five wickets, Abdullah got two wickets, Hayat Ullah got one wicket. In the fourth match played at Gymkhana ground, Haryana Model School beat GHS Sardar Ghari by 40 runs Haryana made 121 runs with Hamza made 20 runs, Bilal not out 40 and Ayaz (29) were the main contributors.
Wisal got two wickets, Ikram, Uzair and Fahad got one wicket each. In reply, GHS Sardar Ghari bowled out for 81 runs after playing 16.1 overs. Uzair Khan made 16 runs, Kamran (24) and Amir (18) were the main scorers. Abid Ullah took two wickets, Wisal, Umar, Zubair and Shaheen got one wicket each.
