The inaugural edition of the World Blind Twenty20 Cup will be staged in England in the year 2021
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Nov, 2017 ) :The inaugural edition of the World Blind Twenty20 Cup will be staged in England in the year 2021. Talking to APP, Pakistan Blind cricket Council (PBCC) Chairman Syed Sultan Shah said to host the 2021 World Blind T20 was decided in the meeting of the World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC).
Yousaf Haroon represented Pakistan in the WBCC meeting through Skype, he said.
He said other changes regarding the game were also made in the meeting.The power play in one day matches have been divided into two phases, he said.
Speaking about the World Cup Cricket of the Blind scheduled to be held in Pakistan and UAE in January 2018, he said as many as 18 players have been finalized and the team for the World Cup will be announced soon. It may be mentioned here that Pakistan has won two World Cups in 2002 and 2006 while the other two are won by South Africa (1998) and India (2014).
