Faisalabad Region thrashed Rawalpindi Region by five wickets in the match of the National T20 at Pindi Stadium Rawalpindi on Tuesday
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Nov, 2017 ) :Faisalabad Region thrashed Rawalpindi Region by five wickets in the match of the National T20 at Pindi Stadium Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Batting first, Rawalpindi Region scored 193 runs for 3 in 20 overs. Umar Amin 67, Sohail Tanveer 32 not out and Zain Abbas 62 played well. For Faisalabad, Taj Wali 1 for 31, Asad Raza 1 for 34 and Faheem Ashraf 1-43 took wickets.
In reply, Faisalabad Region scored 199 runs for 5 wickets in 19.5 overs and won the match. Sohaib Maqsood 87, Khurram Shahzad 52 not out, Faheem Ashraf 26 not out batted well. For Rawalpindi, Shadab Khan 2 for 23, Adnan Ghous 2 for 62 and Muhammad Irfan Jr.
1 for 49 took wickets. Sohaib Maqsood of Faisalabad Region was declared Man of the match.
