Music Contest Held In Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2017 ) : Under Chief Minister Punjab Talent Hunt Program, a music contest was held in Bahawalpur city, in which 57 candidates participated in and expressed their talent pertaining to different forms of music.

According to the results announced by the judges of the contest, Arsalan Fiaz of Bahawalnagar district clinched first position, Orangzeb of Bahawalpur district won second and Ms. Muqaddas Parveen of Rahimyar Khan district got third position.

The winner candidates of first three positions were given certificates and cash prizes including Rs 150,000, Rs 100,000 and Rs 75,000, respectively.

Addressing the ceremony held in connection with music contest, Resident Director, Bahawalpur Arts Council, Rana Aijaz said that the winner candidates would also participate in music contest to be held at provincial level under Chief Minister Punjab Talent Hunt Program.

The judges of the music contest included renowned artist and singer, Jameel Parwana, Sakhawat Hussain and Salma Mamtaz. A large number of people belonging to music attended the ceremony.
