Post on Urwa Hocane’s page gets bashed for comparing her wedding to Royal wedding

The Royal Wedding of Meghan and Harry reminded us of our own love story of Urwa Farhan which was crafted a year ago

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 22nd May, 2018) The admin of the Facebook page of Pakistani tv and film actress Urwa Hocane said that the royal wedding reminded her of her own wedding with Farhan Saeed.

In a recent post by the admin of her Facebook page, it was said, “The Royal Wedding of Meghan and Harry gave us butterflies. It reminded us of our own love story of Urwa Farhan which was crafted a year ago and was trending like wildfire on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.”

Some pictures of the two couples, comparing the wedding were also shared in the post.

However, the post backfired as people started asking why Sonam Kapoor’s wedding did not remind her of her wedding. People said it was okay if they stayed till Bollywood and not extend themselves to the Royal Wedding as they are Pakistani locals.

Some other people came out in support saying it is not acceptable to put someone down for the sake of humor.

Clarifying the pictures and the statement, the reply to this post said, “We appreciate the positivity. It truly is just a post about LOVE. We have clearly not mentioned any comparisons anywhere in the caption. We only meant that this love story reminded us of Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed’s love story. And trending part is a fact that can be googled also. Believe it or not but the hashtag #UrwaFarhan was trending last year. And we cherished the love and warmth that was received.”

“We wish love and positivity to everyone and hope we can all learn to love our Pakistani celebs too. We love them so we posted. Also we are glad you all enjoyed the post in your own way,” it added.
