The Alhamra Unplugged Musical Band enthralled the audience by unique performance at jam-packed auditorium of Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC)
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Oct, 2017 ) :The Alhamra Unplugged Musical Band enthralled the audience by unique performance at jam-packed auditorium of Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC).
Alhamra Unplugged is a musical platform for young talented Vocalists and Musicians. After other platforms like Coke Studio, Nescafe Basement, The Floor etc, Government of Punjab has taken step to initiate the program Alhamra Unplugged Season-I and it is going on under the supervision of Alhamra Arts Council Lahore.
The young artists participating in Season-I belong to different Schools, Colleges and Universities including singers and musicians, Moeen Khan, Qasim Yousaf, Nomal Naseem, Rassab Aamir, Rehan Hashmi, Stephan Aashiq, Mumtaz Hussain Tafu and Waqas Arshad.
Masood Khawaja, senior artist anchored the concert. The solo performances on flute, guitar and table also added charm in live music concert. Member Punjab Assembly Raja Muhammad Hanif Advocate was chief guest while Dr. Ilyas from America, former Director RAC, Naheed Manzoor and Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed were present on the occasion.
