CAST: Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki
It was quite competently directed and Vincent D'Onofrio as well as the lead actress did perform quite well. The movie is OK because well apart from jump-scares, which are the core of every horror movie these days this one actually has a mystery within, like it’s prequels. It has the atmosphere and tone of a mystery movie but is quite boring as well, like scenes dragging and uninteresting things happening. While the other parts of the movie were kind of vicious this 2017 sequel had a sci-fi edge to it.
A college professor finds the tape and decides to run series of experiments and quickly discovers whole mystery behind this video, cliché. By the time the protagonists solve the puzzle, you lose interest in their existence or consecutive death. Chris Stuckmann, however have rated it better than American directed Ring Two. Despite really silly plot lines this movie is OK. In the end it has neat visuals, neat concepts but at the end movie slows down to a crawl and gets a little too convoluted for its own good.
