PMLN underplayed PTI’s 100-day plan: Journalist

It seems that PMLN is worried over PTI’s 100-day plan: Arif Nizami

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 23rd May, 2018) Veteran journalist Arif Nizami while talking on a tv program has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) has underplayed the 100-day plan given by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Commenting on Tuesday’s conference of Ahsan Iqbal, he said that Finance Minister Miftah Islamil and Haroon Iftikhar were along him while Information Minister Marriyam Aurangzeb was also seen sitting in a corner.

“Apparently it seems that PMLN is worried over PTI’s 100-day plan. They think that PTI would not be able to implement it. I think if PTI is not able to implement it, it is their issue. Why are they being concerned?” he said.

“On one hand, they say this plan is useless and cannot be implemented while on the other, Ahsan Iqbal said that this is a copy of his plan made for 2025. If the PTI has really copied it, the PMLN should be happy. They are in turn taunting that this plan is not practical,” he added.

“Ever since I am seeing Ahsan Iqbal, he first gave 2010 plan, then 2020 and now he is saying it was his 2025 plan which has been copied by PTI. The interior minister could not succeed in any of his plan because he is a professor and unpractical,” Nizami said while criticizing the PMLN.

Terming the 100 days plan by PTI as pack of deceits and ambitions, the PMLN ministers on Tuesday challenged Imran Khan and his party to gauge development indicators in Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

"It is better to gauge the development indicators instead of trying to sway masses through jugglery of words. The PTI could not implement its 90 days plan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) announced in previous manifesto and now has come out with another plan to hoodwink masses," said Ahsan Iqbal Minister for Planning and Development at his news conference.

"With 1825 days already down the road, people in KP seek explanation from PTI-led government on 90 days plan," Ahsan Iqbal said.
