Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami had claimed that Khan’s wife Maneka is responsible for Nawaz Sharif’s troubles
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 15th May, 2018) Renowned journalist Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami has taken back his statement regarding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s third wife Bushra Maneka.
Shami said in his program that although he had not said anything inappropriate about Bushra Bibi but Yousaf Baig Mirza and Fawad Chaudhry called me and said I should not have given that statement.
“They said that I made the wrong comment and this is not appropriate. I told them that I did not intend to humiliate someone; however, some people had created a big deal out of it by morning,” he said.
“We talked about Bushra Bibi but we did not mean to insult her. If after all this, the PTI members think I have said something inappropriate, I apologize to them. I take back my words and will be careful in the future. However, the PTI leadership should tell their senior leaders that their abusive language does not suit them. They should be told about morals. There should be a way to talk and to even criticize,” Shami further said.
Two days ago, senior journalist and analyst Shami had claimed that Khan’s wife Maneka is responsible for the troubles of Nawaz Sharif. Shami said that Bushra Bibi is a ‘peerni’ and is known for doing ‘wazaif’. Shami further said that apparently, it is because of Bushra Bibi’s wazaif that the PMLN supremo is committing these mistakes. Nawaz Sharif has been committing mistakes since Khan got married to Bushra Bibi.
