Unscheduled Load-shedding Affects Commercial Activities In Hyderabad

HYDERABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -27th Sep,2016) : Unscheduled and prolonged electricity shutdowns coupled with low gas pressure has turned the life miserable, as the problems have stirred protests here at Hyderabad.
The Business community members Parvaiz Ansari, President Anjuman- e -Tajran Cloth Market Maqsood Qureshi, Chairman Peace ommitee Saddar Area Ghazi Salahuddin and others talking to APP here on Tuesday said that due to power failures, their business suffered a lot and they are unable to run their businesses in the evening hours causing them huge losses every month.
Amidst the claim of uninterrupted power supply by Hyderabad Electric Supply Company, frequent interruption of electricity with repeated fluctuations caused damages to thousands of electrical and digital appliances of power consumers and these appliances went out of order in various parts of city.
Besides scheduled load shedding of six hours daily, the citizens also experiencing power outages in the name of faults in transformers, feeders and grid stations which made the lives of citizens miserable.
The citizens of different localities of Hyderabad has appealed to the HESCO authorities to take notice of this practice and stop unscheduled power outages so that consumers could take sigh of relief. APP/fas/abd/rn
