Unprecedented House-cleansing Done In Last Four Years: Nisar

ISLAMABAD, Sept 19 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2017 ) : Former interior minister, Chuadhry Nisar Ali Khan Tuesday said that house-cleansing during the last four years was unprecedented and there was no such example in our past history.

Talking to journalists here at Punjab House, Chuadhry Nisar said that nobody was opposed to house- cleansing, however the government should focus on taking practical steps in that regard instead of issuing statements.

Citing the example of India, Chaudhry Nisar said that at a time when extremist organizations in India were openly involved in extremism, terrorism and human rights violation, but not even a single politician admitted it in public.

"Extremists in India blacken faces of honorable people, torture the foreign guests and kill Muslims and minorities in the name of holy cow, but no one in authority consider the same as crime," he said. APP/nhk/azm
