Two Terrorists Killed In Encounter With CTD Multan

Two terrorists belonging to a banned militant organization were killed in an intelligence based operation of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Multan at Sher Shah Flood Bund during early Thursday hours
MULTAN,Oct 5 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Oct, 2017 ) : Two terrorists belonging to a banned militant organization were killed in an intelligence based operation of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Multan at Sher Shah Flood Bund during early Thursday hours.
CTD Multan received information from a credible source that four to five terrorists were present at Flood Bund Sher Shah, Multan and planning to attack vital installations of LEAs in Multan, CTD spokesman said in a statement.
A CTD team conducted raid and warned the terrorists to surrender.
The terrorists,however,started straight firing at raiding party.The CTD team took cover and retaliated in self defence. When the firing stopped, two terrorists were found dead by the firing of their own accomplices,whereas remaining three terrorists managed to escape taking advantage of darkness.
Identity of the dead terrorists was being established.Three hand grenades, a rifle and a pistol were recovered from the deceased terrorists. Investigation by concerned quarters was underway.
