Two electricity pylon of 220 KV collapsed in Sibi, DMJ after rainfall

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jul, 2017 ) : Two electricity tower of 220 KV were collapsed in Sibi and Dera Murad Jamali area due to monsoon rain and thunderstorm which plunged Balochistan's some areas into prolonged power outage.

According to QESCO spokesman, two 220 KV pylons of electricity fell down because of monsoon rain, gusty winds and thunderstorm which resulted hours power outage in the provincial capital including Quetta, Sibi, Bolon, Pishin, Qila Abdullah district, Mastung, Nushki, and Dalbandin have grown in recent days following the collapse of two transmission lines of 220 KV between Sibi and Dera Murad Jamali.

QESCO spokesman said that National Transmission and Distribution Company (NTDC) team started repairing works of damaged pylon.
