Two brothers killed

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2017 ) : Two brothers were killed during alleged police encounter at Quaid-e-Azam Colony here on Thursday. Talking to media men, Regional Police Officer RPO Waisal Fakhar Sultan Raja said the accused of motorcycle snatching case opened firing on police from rooftop of house when police raided to arrest them.

It is learnt that the brothers Wasim and Irfan were involved in firing on police last day in which Station House Officer (SHO) RA Bazaar Malik Sajid and a constable Shahzeb were injured. Later, the relatives of the deceased staged a protest demonstration against police and blocked Dhamial-Chakri Road by placing dead bodies in the middle of the road triggering a massive traffic jam.
