Traders Stage Protest Against Police Aggression

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2017 ) : Anjuman-e-Tajran on Monday held protest against Cantonment Police for illegally detaining a trader. A large number of traders, led by President of the union in Saddar, demonstrated against police highhandedness.
The protestors were carrying placards and banners against the police. According to details, Sub Inspector (SI) Idrees along with three constables arrived in a mobile van and parked the vehicle outside the shop of trader Niaz Muhammad.
On query, the policemen beat him mercilessly. The protestors demanded City Police Officer (CPO) Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi to take strict action against the responsible.
