Dr. Gilani said, "The drive to uncover the secrets of life processes and use of this knowledge to improve human existence has led to spectacular advances in the biological and health sciences. Chemistry contributes to these advances by increasing our understanding of processes at the molecular level, and provides many of the methods and techniques used in engineering and biotechnology." The conference is a good opportunity of collaboration between research institutes and universities to apply the different ideas of research in areas of life sciences and engineering.
The participants including professors, students, research professionals and collaborators expressed their views about the proceedings of the conference during the concluding session. The conference brings into sharp focus the overlap and synergistic relationship between different branches of science and engineering.
