Three-day anti-polio campaign starts in KP

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2017 ) : A three-day anti-polio campaign began in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to administer anti-polio drops to children below the age of five years on Monday.

According to an official, around 18,000 teams will take part in the campaign to administer anti-polio drops to more than 5.

6 million children below the age of five years. Anti-polio drops will also be administered to children in 77 Afghan refugees and Temporary Displaced Persons' camps. Strict security arrangements have been made for the polio teams. APP/vak/anm
