RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Sep, 2017 ) : Rawat Tehsil will soon have the facility of a 100-bed hospital, whose construction work was in full swing as half of the funds had been released by the provincial government.
Talking to APP, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of District Health Dr.
Fayyaz Ahmad Butt said the residents of Rawat and the surrounding areas had no health facility at present. The area was no more a remote rather under the proximity of developed housing societies.
The residents visit DHQ Rawalpindi, Holy Family and Benazir Bhutto Hospital which was of great inconvenience especially in accidents and emergencies cases. The government had given 55 kanals land on main GT Road and the project was worth Rs 200 million, while Rs 100 million had already been released. APP/ajr/sh/ati
