ISLAMABAD(Pakistan Point News - 14th july, 2016) : The killing of Umar Naray, the mastermind of the brutal attack on Army Public school (APS), in a drone strike in Afghanistan has been affirmed by the Director-General ISPR Lieutenant General Asim Bajwa.
Bajwa said that the news was confirmed when the US General John Nicholson, who is the Commander Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan, called Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.
Umar Naray who was known as Umar Khalid Khorasani and Khalifa Umar was a member of the illegitimate extremist organization Tehrik-e-Taliban (TTP). After the military operation, He had fled to Afghanistan but was actively conspiring terrorist activities from there. APS inhumane attack had killed Around 144 people mostly children in Peshawar on 16 Decemeber 2014. This is one of the worst terrorist incident in the history of Pakistan. He was the orchestrate of the attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda. Around 22 people were killed and twenty others were wounded when gunman opened fired at the university on 20th January 2016.
