Suspect Killed In Encounter In Hafizabad

An outlaw was killed in a shootout with police near Muradian village on Wednesday late night.

HAFIZABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2018 ) :An outlaw was killed in a shootout with police near Muradian village on Wednesday late night. According to police, three suspects were riding a motorcycle when a police team at picket near Muradian signaled them to stop but they sped away.

The police gave a hot chase when outlaws started firing on the police party.

In retaliation, the police also opened fire and as a result of which, one of the dacoits received bullet injuries and died on the spot while his two accomplices managed to escape in the darkness.

The dacoit was identified as Ahsanullah, who was involved in the murder of constable Umar Usman near Head Sagar few days ago. The police seized official rifle and an unlicensed pistol. According to DPO, the dacoit had been convicted in five criminal cases in past.
