SSC Papers To Be Held As Per Schedule On March 1

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2017 ) :- Secondary school Certificate (SSC) 2017 papers would be held on March 1, in accordance with the schedule announced earlier. According to Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary education (RBISE) spokesman, there would be no change in the schedule announced by the board.
The students must appear in the papers in accordance with the date sheet sent to them. The students can contact the board's control room on phone (051) 9239191 or the controller examination telephone number (051) 5450918 and 051-5450917.
The spokesman informed that SSC annual examinations would start from March 1 as all arrangements have been finalized by RBISE for transparent and smooth holding of examinations in which as many as 122,377 students would take part.
He said, 67,999 male and 54,378 female students have been issued roll number slips for appearing in the examinations while total 362 examination centers have been set up in that regard. Of the total examination centers, 134 are for boys and 134 for girls while 94 combined examination centers have also been set up.
362 superintendents, 456 deputy superintendents and 362 invigilators have been deployed while total 66 examination centers have been set up in district Attock, 80 in Chakwal, 59 in Jhelum, 93 in Rawalpindi district with 64 local examination centers set up in Rawalpindi.
He said, foolproof security arrangements in consultation with Commissioner Rawalpindi Division and Regional Police Officer have been finalized. The board has also deployed 362 its own security guards for all examination centers.
All out efforts would be made to eliminate 'Bouti Mafia,' he added. The spokesman informed that special monitoring teams have been formed by the Chairman Board Dr Muhammad Zareef and reports would be presented to the chairman daily.
A special cell has also been set up and complaints about any examination center can be sent on fax number (051) 5450912. Action on complaints would be directly taken by the chairman, he added. APP/azh/sh/azm
