Special Security Arrangements Made For Federal Capital

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jul, 2017 ) : The capital administration has made special security arrangements for the city in the wake of Supreme Court's decision in the Panama papers case to be announced on Friday.
Rangers, Frontier Corps and police personnel would be deployed at and surroundings of the Supreme Court building, a spokesman of the capital police said. He said entry in the court premises would only be allowed through passes, which were being issued by Registrar of the Supreme Court.
The media will also be issued special passes for the coverage, while no unauthorized person would be allowed to enter the red zone, he added.
Employees of government offices, located in red zone, have been directed to bring their office cards with them to avoid any inconvenience.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Mushtaq Ahmed said as many as 3000 police personnel would be deployed across the city to maintain law and order. He directed the police to ensure foolproof security at all exit and entry points of the city and warned that no negligence would be in this regard.
He reminded that section 144 was already in place, adding no one would be allowed to carry flags and sticks in Federal capital.
