Smog Delays Several Trains

Several trains were delayed on Saturday after heavy smog engulfed the Multan division making visibility almost minimal and bringing the morning traffic to a sluggish pace

MULTAN, Nov 4 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2017 ) :Several trains were delayed on Saturday after heavy smog engulfed the Multan division making visibility almost minimal and bringing the morning traffic to a sluggish pace.

According a railway official, about 30 Multan bound up and down trains, coming from Peshawar, Karachi, Rawalpindi and others got delayed for two to three hours.

Four trains which started their journey from Multan, including Musa Pak, Zakariya Express, Mehr Express and Multan Express, also got delayed, he added.

Chief Controller of Trains Operation Yusuf Dogar said the smog was expected to be cleared till Monday and advised the passengers to check the trains schedule in advance.
