Sindh Police Training Branch organizes TOT

Sindh Police Training Branch, organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) two week course at Saeedabad Police Training College on Forensic Investigation, of 30 Trainees (20 male + 10 females) from training college and field units across Sindh, supported by International Narcotics & Law Enforcement (INL), US Embassy @ Islamabad.

KARACHI, (Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2018) : Sindh Police Training Branch, organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) two week course at Saeedabad Police Training College on Forensic Investigation, of 30 Trainees (20 male + 10 females) from training college and field units across Sindh, supported by International Narcotics & Law Enforcement (INL), US Embassy @ Islamabad. Addl: IG, Special Branch Mr. Walli ullah dal while speaking on the occasion as chief guest highlighted the significance of forensic science in modern investigation as an effective tool and quoted the example of detection of Zainab murder case in kasur.

He further said that it is an utmost effort of Mr. A.D Khowaja IGP Sindh, to invest on training and equip the police with modern gadgets and equipments. He quoted that school of intelligence and Investigation are soon going to be operational. While speaking on the occasion Mr. Sharjil Kharal, DIG Training gave the salient features of training and objectives of the module on forensic investigation, which he has authored himself.

He further emphasized the need and importance for trickledown effect of the forensic science/investigation skills at range/Districts level as directed by Mr. A.D Khowaja, IGP Sindh. He further emphasized the need for training in the field of investigation, and other areas of policing. Other members of curriculum Development Team, Rtd IG Mohammad Akber, SSP Mr. Faizullah Korejo, Mr. Iqbal Detho, Dr. Umair and others also participated. DIG Mr. Abdul Khaliq Shiekh and Mr. Richard Saunders from the (INL) were also present on the closing ceremony.
